A new coffee bar aiming to make people feel "comfortable and relaxed" has opened its doors in Parkgate.

Owner Chantal Broadhurst, 39, from West Kirby and manager, Lauren Cassidy from Chester, have brought a "casual coffee and wine venue" to Parkgate.

No.1 Parkgate has partnered with local businesses such as Lost Barn Coffee Roasters, S0lo Bread and Copplecakes.

There are also brunch and lunch options, including avocado, egg and full English dishes, but also lighter dishes like acai bowls.
