North Light

A unique bar and restaurant concept inspired by Chester's history and arts scene has been unveiled for the city's Northgate development. New World Trading Company will be opening a bar and restaurant called North Light at the venue, which they were originally going to turn into The Florist.

An artist's impression has been unveiled, with the new venue which opens next year said to be inspired by Chester's rich history and "proud northern location", aiming to champion the arts community in the city by shining a light on up and coming artists. The company says the venue will also champion the city's rich history as well as its "unique creative scene", with the company saying the name North Light comes from the optimal light for creativity.
