Northwich company Timberwise wins award for staff development

A company has been recognised for its commitment to staff training. 

Northwich-based Timberwise, a specialist in building preservation solutions, picked up the Training and Staff Development award at the Property Care Association’s 15th annual Property Care Awards, which were held at Old Trafford.

The award highlights Timberwise’s dedication to structured employee development across its entire workforce.

The company maintains a strong focus on structured inductions and industry-recognised qualifications, offering external training to all employees - from apprentices to senior leaders - not only for professional advancement but also for personal growth.

Judges praised Timberwise’s investment in a culture of continuous improvement and noted its "commitment to creating a skilled, motivated and future-ready workforce."

More than 20 awards were presented during the ceremony, recognising achievements across training and staff development, innovation, sustainability, and best practice.

Timberwise, a family-run business with more than 50 years of experience, provides specialist property care services including waterproofing and treatment of dry rot, rising damp, and woodworm.

The company has implemented personalised development plans for every member of its team.
