Press coffee shop celebrates grand opening in Hartford

The owners of a new coffee shop in Hartford are hoping to build on the success of their first week trading after getting 'overwhelming' support from the community.

Press coffee shop officially opened on Saturday, July 5, after work to transform the former ELson newsagents premises in Chester Road was completed earlier this year.

The dog-friendly new shop, which will also serve as a meeting place and workshop space, has already proven popular with its customers.

Reflecting on the successful opening day, co-owners Rosie Pinder and Josh Walton were very grateful for the support shown by the community.

"We cannot believe the amount of support the community has shown us on day one," they said.

"We look forward to building on today's success to ensure Press remains your friendly, go-to coffee shop in Hartford - a place to meet family and friends, relax, work, and enjoy great coffee!"

Opening daily, Press offers indoor and outdoor seating, aiming to provide a welcoming atmosphere for everyone.

Rosie and Josh pride themselves on using locally-sourced coffee, as well as tasty bakes and pastries.

Suppliers include Adams and Russell, Duda Coffee, The Bake House Cheshire, and Baker at the Bottom of the Garden respectively.
