St Luke’s Hospice named charity partner by Winsford firms

TWO Winsford companies have pledged to support the vital work carried out by a hospice in the town.

Compass Minerals UK and DeepStore have named St Luke’s Hospice as their charity of the year for 2026/27 and will back the charity through fundraising, volunteering and community activities.

The companies operate out of the Winsford salt mine, with DeepStore managing an underground storage facility at the site.

Gary Sinclair, managing director of Compass Minerals UK and DeepStore, said: "St Luke’s Hospice plays an extraordinary role in our community, offering compassionate care to local people when they need it most.

"We’re proud to deepen our support by naming St Luke’s our charity of the year for 2026/27.

"Our teams across DeepStore and Compass Minerals UK are looking forward to getting involved in fundraising, volunteering, and community events that will help raise vital funds for this much loved organisation."
