A UK holiday group which operates venues across the country has reported a "strong year" for its trading divisions with demand and occupancy levels remaining high despite "weaker consumer confidence".
Forge Holiday Group was formed following the acquisitions of Sykes Cottages, Forest Holidays and caravan rental business UKCaravans4hire. It is also behind New Zealand holiday home business bachcare, spanning more than 180 locations.
Accounts filed under Priestholm Midco Ltd show the group made revenues of £221.1m in the year to 31 September 2025, up from £208.1m in 2024.
EBITDA reached £69.4m, up from £64.1m, but the group reported pre-tax losses of £93.8m, widening from £177.8m.
The asset/goodwill impairment totalled £13.8m in the year and relates to the Specialist Operator, Caravans and New Zealand divisions. It is due to "lower than expected forecasted profits as a result of the current economic conditions".
