A Chester-based holiday accommodation business has raised £40,000 by taking on a nail-biting fire walk.

More than 80 colleagues from Sykes Holiday Cottages and its parent company, Forge Holiday Group, completed the walk outside One City Place, helping to raise £20,000 for their charity partners.

The on-the-night total will now be matched by Forge Holiday Group, bringing the total donated to good causes to £40,000, including charities such as Hospice of the Good Shepherd and Mind.
