The Cheshire Science Corridor

The Local Enterprise Partnership leads the growth of the Cheshire and Warrington economy through a powerful partnership between the private, public, and voluntary sectors. Our ambition is to be the UK’s healthiest, most sustainable, inclusive and growing economy.

Working in collaboration with local government, businesses, educational institutes and other public, private and community sector organisations, we keep Cheshire and Warrington firmly on the map.

The Cheshire Science Corridor is an Enterprise Zone in Cheshire and Warrington, which is a collection of scientific sites across Cheshire and Warrington from Alderley Park and Jodrell Bank in the East, to the Nuclear Cluster of Warrington and Birchwood, to the Ellesmere Port Industrial Area.

We are looking to relaunch The Cheshire Science corridor as an investment proposition and a home to leading and innovative scientific discovery, as part of an enhanced promotion of Cheshire and Warrington as a place to live, work and visit. Over the next two months, we will be developing a new brand toolkit to launch at an event in March 2023. The aim of the brand toolkit is to make it easier for businesses within the Science Corridor to utilise the brand in their own activity, whether as part of a recruitment or investment campaign. At a later date, we will be integrating the Science Corridor into a wider place brand for Cheshire as a place to work, live and visit.

To help us tell the story of The Cheshire Science corridor we are looking to appoint creative partners to support with copywriting, film production and photography. This tender can be quoted in full as a complete response or in parts depending on your specific skills and abilities.

Deadline for submissions: 24 February

Submissions should be sent via email, stating in the email subject which tender the submission relates to. Completed submissions should be sent to the tender contact stated above only and must be submitted by the deadline for submissions. Submissions sent by other means may not be accepted at the discretion of CWLEP.
