The George and Dragon Pub

A historic Chester city centre pub which has fallen into a state of disrepair having stayed shut since the start of the Covid pandemic could soon be reopening.

Plans are afoot to bring the Grade II listed George and Dragon pub back to life with overnight accommodation. Owners Greene King are proposing to make "significant investment" in the building which has rapidly deteriorated during the period it has been closed.
