Thousands vote for Northwich Customer Excellence Awards

Thousands of votes have poured in for a new awards event recognising outstanding businesses.

Just under 7,000 public votes have been cast for Northwich’s first-ever Customer Excellence Awards, celebrating the businesses and teams that help make the town centre vibrant.

Organised by the Northwich Business Improvement District (BID), the awards highlight outstanding customer experiences across sectors including hospitality, retail, professional services, and personal care.

Lynn Riley, project manager of Northwich BID, said: "Our businesses are the beating heart of the town centre - they bring personality, passion and real community spirit to Northwich.

"The response to these awards has been fantastic, and the volume of votes shows just how valued our local businesses are.

The awards ceremony will take place on Thursday, January 22, with high anticipation already building across the town.

The awards feature 10 categories, including The Daily Grind Award (Coffee Shop / Café Excellence), The Take A Seat Award (Best Hospitality Business), and The One-Of-A-Kind Award (Best Independent Business).

The Rising Star Award will honour the best newcomer business since 2024.

The awards are entirely decided by public vote, giving Northwich residents the chance to champion businesses that excel through outstanding service, expertise and a warm welcome.

The ceremony aims to formally recognise and thank businesses for their commitment, teamwork, and customer care.
