Two Cheshire takeaways have been shortlisted at JustEat's Restaurant awards. Vegan House Foods Ltd in Chester and Cafe at the End of the Universe in Warrington made a shortlist of five takeaways from across the North-west.
Vegan House Foods Ltd is trying to dispel the myth that vegan food only consists of sad salads and tofu, saying on their website they want to 'show non believers that vegan food can be filthy and indulgent'. The menu offers a wide range of plant-based burgers.
These include those made to imitate the taste and texture of meat. There's even a 'donner' kebab, as well as 'f*sh finger butty'.
