DOUBLE-decker buses on the Wrexham to Chester route are being replaced with single-decker models.
Arriva has announced that 11 new single-decker buses will soon be in service as part of a £2.5 million investment in the network, with the vehicles set to operate on the Wrexham to Chester route.
Adam Marshall, commercial director for Arriva Cymru, said: "These new buses are a real boost for Wrexham, offering passengers more comfortable and reliable journeys as soon as they hit the road.
"They're part of a much bigger £15 million investment across Wales, and it shows our commitment to giving communities here a bus service they can depend on.
"We want people to look at the bus first when they’re planning to get around and considering leaving the car at home."
The arrival of the new buses in Wrexham is part of a wider programme that will see 59 new vehicles introduced across Wales.
